Timers
Wintermute has two categories of timer:
Global Timers
These are related to the overall timing of your show, and are displayed in the main interface:
- The Flow timer gives the time time since the last full advance. If you are not using a univeral advance, it can be operated manually using the relevant commands.
- The Clock timer - this looks at the time flow timer and the time associated with the group in the relevant point in the show flow to derive a “wall clock” time - which will be the actual time if the show is running to time!
Zone Timers
There is a freely controllable timer associated with each zone in the show flow.
They can be used a number of ways:
- They can be displayed on remotes using
node_currenttimer
to give show staff timing feedback - They can function as a timing reference for an MTC stream using
midi_attachtimer
- They can form part of commands using the
Zone.Seconds
variable
