Interface Layout

  1. Displays the Zones in a show in a tree structure; zones are displayed within Categories (the main one being Show Flow, which contains all zones through which audience Groups pass), and under each zone any Variables defined for that zone are displayed. The +/- buttons change the size of the text.
  2. Displays the Nodes in a show in a tree structure; nodes are displayed within Categories, and under each node, any macros defined for that node are displayed. The +/- buttons change the size of the text.
  3. Displays the text of the currently selected Chat Log; new messages can be added in the single line box below, and area sent by pressing return in that box or by pressing the “»” button next to it.
  4. A grid view of all Chat Logs in the show, with a column showing how many unread (by the Wintermute user) messages there are in each log. The chat log displayed in (3) is selected by clicking on the relevant line. If the chat log relates to an audience group, that group's size and alias is also displayed.
  5. Displays Wintermute’s System Log; the numeric selector at the top right determines the level of detail displayed – 0 will only display errors and major system events, and 5 is the most verbose. The log is not editable or scrollable.
  6. Displays Wintermute's main timers:
    1. the Flow Timer – the time elapsed since the last advance
    2. the Clock Timer - a time derived from the scheduled time of groups moving through the system - if the show is running to time, it will be the actual time.
  7. Toggles Wintermute’s Response to button commands from remotes; it defaults to bypass for show mode.
  8. Toggles Wintermute between responding to Master and Backup Qlab machines.
  9. Writes the currently selected Chat Log to a file on the Desktop.
  10. Writes the System Log to a file on the Desktop.
  11. Spawns the Console window - this is only to be used for testing and debugging!
